Thai Airways has resumed direct flights from Bangkok to Sapporo.

Five round trip flights a week are currently in schedule using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, the flight duration being 6 hours 45 minutes.

And Thai AirAsia will resume its Bangkok to Sapporo route on 29 October to capture winter season travel to the north of Japan.

The two Thai airline’s reversal of Covid-era route cancellations are a clear sign of Japan’s strong inbound traveller recovery, post pandemic.

Thai AirAsia will also be offering promotional fares beginning on 30 September for travel in the winter season, from 29 October to 30 March 2024, via its “AirAsia Superapp”.

These promotional winter fares will start at approximately JPY28,800 (US$200).
