Big Valley 2 exudes modern Japanese elegance with its bold concrete design. The rugged exterior is juxtaposed by the warm and comfortable interiors waiting indoors. Travelling with a bigger group? No worries! There are two near identical Big Valley chalets located right next door.
Big Valley 2 offers oodles of space, with living areas and bedrooms spread over three floors. As you enter on the middle floor, you’ll be greeted by a large and specious living/dining room, with stairs leading upstairs and down to the basement level.
There are three bedrooms on the top floor, all furnished with a king bed which can also be set up as two singles if needed. This offers great flexibility for different groups needing different sleeping arrangements. The basement level, on the other hand, is the perfect hideout for kids and teens as it has a bunk room with a TV lounge attached!

Big Valley 2 sits close to the border between Middle and Lower Hirafu. This is an ideal location for those looking for that sweet spot between easy access to all the action and peaceful relaxation close to nature.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
The closest lifts are the Ace family lifts, located about 10 minutes away on foot. The walk is uphill, so if you don’t feel like dragging your gear up the slope, you can simply hop on the free shuttle bus – the closest stop is just 10 metres from your doorstep.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Big Valley 2 brings you within walking distance from some of the best restaurants in the village. The iconic Fridge Door Bar is practically your neighbour, and the main dining street of Momiji Zaka is also just a few blocks away. If you don’t feel like walking, zoom to your favourite restaurant with the free village shuttle.
