Big Valley 1 is part of a cool block of semi-detached concrete townhouses. Together, the three sister units make up Big Valley. Unlike many of the chalets in today’s Niseko (which draw huge inspiration from Europe and North America), Big Valley channels pure Japanese inspiration with its striking concrete form, juxtaposed by huge stretches of glass.
Within its sturdy walls and rooms spanning across three floors, Big Valley 1 provides all the creature comforts you could ask for. The open-plan living areas are light and spacious, featuring a full-feature kitchen, generous dining section and a comfy lounge area with a large TV complete with Netflix – who’s up for a movie night?
Big Valley 1 has four bedrooms, providing ample space for 8 guests. There is one bedroom on the basement level, providing added privacy and direct access to the TV room on the same floor. The remaining three bedrooms are located up on the top floor.

Location
SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Big Valley 1 is located on the edge of Lower Hirafu Village. This gives guests the perfect balance: close to the action (the slopes as well as dining), while still providing peace and quiet in a natural setting.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
The Ace family lifts are about 10 minutes away on foot. It’s an uphill walk, but don’t worry: there’s also a shuttle stop just 10 metres from your doorstep. This makes getting around the village a breeze.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Big Valley 1 has a great location for foodies. Some of Niseko’s best restaurants and apres ski pubs are mere minutes away on foot. If you want to explore further (or don’t feel like walking), the free shuttle bus is a handy option.
