Trend-setting Niseko developer Odin has kicked off development on its Japanese-European style mountain village Odin Hills at Hanazono following a wave of new enquiry and sales.

The property was released for sale in the winter of 2019-20, which was cut short as COVID took hold in February 2020.

Odin says interest in Niseko property has made a rapid return and, following several recent land sales, infrastructure works on the property have started.

Located near the Park Hyatt at Hanazono, Odin says the 16ha master-planned luxury village will include a boutique hotel and individual luxury homes, with owner access to the “O Lodge” clubhouse (pictured top), spa and onsen (hot spring) overlooking a stream.

The traditional villages of the European mountains have inspired the Odin Hills vision and masterplan with their quiet charm and timber-framed chalets.

The village will have sidewalks for walking and biking, dedicated yoga serenity pods, as well as trails for hiking and running.

Odin’s previous projects including the landmark Odin Place building at the Hirafu traffic lights, iconic restaurant The Barn, and several villas, apartments and boutique hotel.

Odin says almost 50% of Phase 1 has been sold, and infrastructure will be completed this winter, with buyers able to have houses completed by winter 2023.
