PRESS RELEASE
Manila-based DoubleDragon Properties announced on 27 June that it had paid the required deposit for its first Hotel101 located in Japan.
The upcoming Hotel101 – Niseko is expected to cater to foreign and Filipino tourists, as well as local travellers in Japan.
H2 Christie’s International Real Estate in Niseko was appointed as Master Sales Agent for the new development, which will be a 482 room hotel set on 9,000sqm of land in Hirafu.
The signing ceremony for the agreement took place in Niseko on 12 July.
DoubleDragon said Hotel101 rooms are designed to be similar in size and to cater to the mid-end market.
Hotel101 – Niseko will offer dynamic pricing and will follow a “condotel” concept allowing DoubleDragon to generate revenues twice first from the pre-selling of select units and then through recurring hotel operations.
Completion is expected in 2026, with sales set to launch on 26 August of this year.
