Five Area Towns Collaborate On The “Niseko Trail”

NISEKO NEWS

A new hiking route, dubbed the “Niseko Trail”, has been created in collaboration with five local towns.

The Shiribeshi General Promotion Bureau worked with the connected towns (Kutchan, Niseko, Kyowa, Rankoshi and Iwanai) to aggregate the Niseko Trail from exiting routes and create a logo, website and coordinated communication for trekkers of the hike’s attractions, all to be released this summer.

The route begins at the base of Mt. Annupuri in Niseko and terminates at the Raiden Coast in Iwanai Town.

Points of interest along the way include onsen (hot springs), historical sites and, of course, various views of Hokkaido’s natural scenery.
