For the second summer, the open-roof “Sky Bus Niseko” will be touring Niseko and Kutchan.

Sky Bus Niseko is jointly operated by The Kutchan Tourist Association and the Niseko Resort Tourist Association and will, this year, operate from 15 July to 3 September.

The 34km daytime course, like last year, will run between the Kutchan i-Center (a tourist information centre) at JR Kutchan Station and Michi-no-Eki Niseko View Plaza (one stop beyond Niseko Station) while the evening bus will travel terminate at Niseko Station, a 33km route.

Other stops along the route are the Hanazono, Hirafu and Niseko Village Resorts.

The fee is JPY1,500 for adults and JPY750 for elementary school students, with discounts available to local residents.

This year will also introduce a “digital discount” of 10% for those who purchase electronic tickets in advance and discounted unlimited ride passes in one day, one week and all-season iterations.

In anticipation of international guests due to Japan’s reopening, the automatic audio guide system on the bus will support five languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese, Korean and Japanese).
