The 2nd Annual Jolly Fox International wrapped on Wednesday 9 August, and the participants aren’t leaving the green empty-handed.

As last year, the ample Jolly Fox Swag features golf accoutrements and the tourney itself featured fine wine and craft beer, the latter from a Niseko Brewer.

H2 Group Co-CEO and founder of the tourney, Michael Chen, said that the experiences and unique gifts are to make each one of the players feel they are part of something truly special.

The ultimate goal is to have fun, but also to create sensational memories that make players want to come back again and again.

There were 12 prizes for various competitions throughout the three rounds of play, such as a Callaway JAWS RAW 56-10 S-Grind Wedge (JPY27,000 value) for the closest to Pin Hole #8 in Round 1 and a Callaway Paradym X Forged Carbon Driver RH 10.5 VENTUS (JPY87,120 Value) for closest to Pin Hole #11 in Round 3.

The Callaway prizes are reflective of the huge support Callaway has provided to The Jolly Fox and The Jolly Fox International Tourney as awareness of Niseko grows in the global golf scene.

The first day of The International featured the team draw, at which point the surprise bag of swag that everyone receives was revealed.

It included a personalised antique leather bag, a The Jolly Fox tote bag, a Callaway cap, a personalised jacket and wine from France’s Château La Coste which was also the wine poured at the 9 August Gala Dinner that concluded the tourney.

The craft beer that players refreshed themselves with after their rounds, however, was from Niseko’s own Yotei Brewing, in line with The Jolly Fox’s practice of supporting local business and producers when possible.

Every part of the experience is designed to be just top flight, from the service, to the quality of the prizes, to the uniqueness and quality of the tee gifts.

The Champions, Sean Liao from the United States and Vivian Yang from Beijing each received a one night stay with breakfast at The Shinmonzen in Kyoto (JPY250,000 Value).

Currently ongoing till 15 October is The Jolly Fox Niseko Masters, the winner to be awarded the Orange Jacket and have their name immortalised on the Champions Trophy.
