This two-storey chalet (newly finished in 2023) is located in the Intuition development, a sweet location that manages to be quiet and secluded while being just around the corner from Hirafu’s main street, lifts and nightlife.
The interiors are modern, warm and fun – with tasteful artwork and feature lighting adding a bit of extra flavour. Yuki Sugi Chalet is perfect for large groups, and arranged for maximum ski life comfort. There is the entrance with undercover garage, an expansive ski storage room with heated boot racks, a downstairs media room separate from the living room, shared bathrooms on each floor, and a private indoor onsen with its own entrance and change room giving everyone easy access.
Most of the second floor is taken up by an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, with a feature dining table seating 10 and a breakfast bar seating an additional 4 guests. Three of the bedrooms have their own en-suites, the Master bedroom suite being the grandest with its own walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with bath and shower.
The kitchen and laundry offer everything you need for a self-contained ski getaway.
Or, if you prefer to leave the cooking to someone else, a short walk will take you to the Hirafu Intersection and Hirafu’s main streets.

Although it doesn’t have its own en suite bathroom, this bedroom is next door to the ground floor’s shared bathroom. It is also next door to the private onsen.

SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Yuki Sugi Chalet is located in the Intuition development, a quiet and low-density neighbourhood just outside of Hirafu Village’s traditional boundaries. Here you can enjoy the best of both worlds – the seclusion of a private chalet in a forest-bound development on the edge of town, a short walk from the main intersection of Middle Hirafu, and the heart of Hirafu’s nightlife.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
Cross the main road and walk 250 metres to reach the Ace Family Pair lift, or follow the main road 400m to reach the Hirafu Intersection, Seicomart and Hirafu’s main bus stop. If you bring a car, Yuki Sugi’s just-out-of-town location will get you to the main road without having to navigate the slushy, icy and steep side roads of Hirafu Village.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Intuition’s Middle Hirafu location means nearly all of Hirafu’s dining and bar options are a short stroll away from Yuki Sugi Chalet. Try the iconic Odin Place for three storeys of dining and retail options, or hit up Seicomart Convenience store and Hirafu’s food truck village for a quick easy meal. Or for a local highlight, visit Intuition’s main building for a dining experience at Naniwatei.

A modern and comfortable chalet with a private onsen (hot spring) is an excellent combination for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. This is a perfect place for your winter holiday with family and friends. Located in Outer Hirafu so hiring a car might be a great option to get around easily.
