Tsubasa Chalet is a gorgeous new luxury chalet addition to the Hanaridge development in Hanazono, Niseko. Newly completed for the 2023-24 season, Architect Ricardo Tossani’s artful vision brings modern, understated design and grace to a stunning, secluded forest location.
Interiors feature designer furniture, modern wood-texture interiors, recessed lighting and black stone tile bathrooms. What sets Tsubasa Chalet apart is the unique Y-shaped design. Each floor takes full advantage of the location’s Mt Yotei and forest views, with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides of each space on the Y-end of the building. On the 3rd entrance floor these gorgeous views offset the spacious open plan living, dining and balcony spaces, on the 2nd floor they enhance the two master bedrooms, and on the ground floor you can enjoy the views from your own private natural onsen – either indoor or outdoor pools – or from the spacious yoga studio / gym room.
The other rooms don’t lose out on features either. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, with showers in the guest rooms and toilet for the kids in the bunk room.
A feature fireplace as well as a grand piano add opulence to the spacious open-plan living area, and a full-feature kitchen provides all that you (or your private chef) need to create culinary masterpieces. The property comes with its own concierge staff and a dedicated driver with vehicle – so the distance to anywhere is never really a worry.

SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Tsubasa Chalet and the Hanaridge develompent are located in Hanazono, Niseko, in that sweet spot where car access can get you quickly into town or to the snow. There are several chalets nestled in the woods surrounding, but otherwise you can enjoy nature here in privacy and seclusion.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
Tsubasa Chalet is 1.5 km from Hanazono’s ski slopes – your dedicated driver can get you there in just 3 minutes. Or you can be at the base of the Hirafu Gondola in 10 minutes. Kutchan’s train station, a local transport hub, is also 10 minutes’ drive away.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Your nearest dining options are at the Park Hyatt in Hanazono, a 3-minute drive from Tsubasa Chalet. Hirafu widens the range of options considerably, with a 10-minute drive away south, while Kutchan’s groceries, pharmacies and restaurants are a 10-minute drive to the north.
