Silverfox Living Kitchen and Dining Area with Wooden Floor | St Moritz

The lifts are about 800m from the house so it’s a bit of a walk, but for the average tourist better to jump on the Niseko United Shuttle which stops just down from the house – it’s free if you have an all mountain pass. A car is an even better option as your choices and convenience open right up!

The modern interior is clean and comfortable, with high ceilings in the kitchen, dining and living areas creating a great sense of space. The big couch is perfect for four people to unwind after a day on the mountain and discuss the day’s skiing.

SilverFox has two bedrooms, the master upstairs alongside the kitchen and living areas, and another bedroom downstairs. There is also a rollout bed for a fifth guest if required.

The master bedroom has an ensuite, and the downstairs bedroom almost does – it’s just across the hall but with no one else staying on this level it might as well be an ensuite – just be careful if you’re ducking across sans clothing!

There is also an extra toilet off from the living area which is great when entertaining or if there is a fifth guest using the rollout bed.

You will love SilverFox’s spacious modern kitchen. Being away from the resort there aren’t many restaurants in walking distance, so if you end up eating in a bit you’ll appreciate a nice kitchen.

The chalet enjoys epic views of Niseko’s number one landmark – the symmetrical Mt Fuji-like volcano Mt Yotei – from the living room and bedrooms.

Location

SETTING / ATMOSPHERE

SilverFox is located in St Moritz Village, the next village across from Hirafu towards Niseko Village. It’s a peaceful part of the area backing onto the base of Mt Annupuri (the ski mountain) with very few shops, just a handful of small restaurants and cafes dotted around.

LIFTS / TRANSPORT

You’re about 800m from the nearest lift and there is no shuttle bus servicing this part of Niseko. If you’re a keen walker (or very keen cross-country skier) you could do it without a car, but it’s not recommended for the average tourist.

RESTAURANTS / BARS

There are a few little restaurants and cafes in this neck of the woods, the most notable being Lupicia – a very nice Japanese-European fusion restaurant.
