Views, style and access – Sekka Sekka has it all. The chalet is tucked just off the main Hirafu intersection with private chalets, condominiums and a cosy izakaya as its neighbours, but you’re never too far from the action. As the (frosted) cherry on top, the chalet also provides spectacular views looking out to Mt Yotei.
Sekka Sekka is built over an impressive four floors, so there’s plenty of room to go about. The floors are connected by an elevator for ease of movement. There are five bedrooms in total and as the living areas sit on the top floor, they offer the best views in the house. The furniture has been carefully chosen and represents the finest in slope side living and styling. The open-plan kitchen includes all the appliances and cutlery you’ll need and entertainment is provided by a smart TV and projector.
The five bedrooms are all en suite. The master bedroom has a huge TV and the en suite comes with an indulgent bath. Four of the bedrooms come with a choice between one king bed or two singles, based on what your group needs. The fifth bedroom offers a real taste of Japan as it is a traditional tatami room, with two futon mattresses laid down on the straw mat floor.

The first bedroom is located on the chalet’s third level. It features a king bed or two singles based on your preference. The bed faces a huge flat-screen TV and the room is surrounded by full-wall windows looking out to the snow. The en suite bathroom features a bath, shower, toilet and washstand.

The second bedroom is one of three bedrooms located on the chalet’s second floor. It has a king bed which may be converted into two singles if needed. There are generous windows and a TV, and a shower en suite adjoins the room.

Sekka Sekka is located in Middle Hirafu Village. The chalet sits just shy of the main Hirafu intersection, meaning restaurants, shops, ski shuttles and the lifts are all at your fingertips.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
You’re in luck: Sekka Sekka sits just 200 metres or so from the ACE Family Chairlifts so hitting the slopes will be a breeze. If you want to explore further afield, the main Hirafu bus stop is just a little further away from Sekka Sekka.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Being located in Middle Hirafu, Sekka Sekka offers easy access to Hirafu’s lively dining scene. The Odin Place complex with a few cool restaurants and shops is located right up the street at the Hirafu intersection, and the Otsukisama and Bar Moon is literally across the street. The Momiji-Zaka dining strip is also an easy walk away.

Sekka Sekka is a cool and unique property located in the heart of Hirafu. So you are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and ski lifts. You can also see the amazing views of Mount Yotei View from this property.
Alastair –
Sekka Sekka is so cool they named it twice ;) The mix of materials, rabbit-warren of rooms, views of sekka (snow) and high-quality appliances all combine to make it feel amazing inside. And the fact it’s located just around the corner from a chair lift makes it a sensational property.

The design of Sekka Sekka is truly unique, especially for a chalet within a 4-level building. The standout feature is the inviting living area situated on the top level of the chalet.
Sara –
An interesting design with a fantastic living room at the top of the property. The rooms are on different floors with a series of doors that open up to the bedrooms from the stairwell. I don’t think the style is great for young children but large group looking for a cool chalet this might just be it.
