Newly built in 2020, Off Piste Chalet was designed as one of the most impressive new accommodation options in St Moritz, a high-end community of chalets nestled just outside the bustling hub of Hirafu Village. The property is neighboured by other exclusive accommodation and fringed by snowy woods, providing a peaceful stay just moments from the slopes and restaurant scene.
The chalet is generously built over three levels with full-wall windows lining the living areas strategically positioned on the top floor to make the most of the views looking out to the mighty Mt Yotei. There are three bedrooms in total – each one provides desk space for remote working and is adjoined by a luxuriously appointed en suite bathroom.
The open-plan living and dining room is the social hub of the villa, offering ample space and natural light streaming in through full-wall windows. There’s also a cosy TV nook with relaxed bean bags located on the floor below, along with fully equipped laundry facilities and dedicated ski storage.

SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Off Piste Chalet is located in St Moritz, just outside Grand Hirafu. This is a relaxed community of chalets surrounded by serene forest, just a five-minute drive from the Hirafu ski lifts.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
The Grand Hirafu lifts are just a quick five-minute drive from the property – you could even walk there in 15 minutes or so, but you’ll probably choose not to in your ski boots. Alternatively, you can drive in the other direction to reach the lifts in Niseko Village in about 15 minutes.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
The closest cluster of restaurants awaits within a five-minute drive in Hirafu Village. Here, you’ll find local izakayas, Michelin-starred restaurants and more. There are also a handful of options scattered closer by, including the delicious Lupicia restaurant.

Off Piste is a cool and funky boutique chalet which could be a fantastic and unique place for your winter holiday. The chalet is located in Outer Hirafu so I’d suggest hiring a car to get around easily.
Alastair –
Off Piste is cool and funky! I love the retro posters throughout and the comfortable living area. It’s a 15 minute walk to the nearest lift, or a couple of minutes walk to where the shuttle bus stops, so I recommend renting a vehicle to make getting around easier.
Dwiari A –
Off Piste Chalet boasts a charming retro style, complemented by tasteful art furniture. Ideal for a small family, it provides a cozy setting to fully enjoy the winter season in Niseko.
Sara –
Great chalet just 5 minutes from Hirafu. I recommend a car to get around but the property does offer a shuttle once daily to the lifts in winter. Fun villa with bright tones and retro style furnishings.
