Each chalet in the Foxwood development adds its own stylistic flourishes, and Foxwood D is no different. The same balance of cutting-edge design meeting cozy chalet living is here: Light creamy walls and textured wood paneling make for a light, warm and airy atmosphere. The chalet’s hard-edged and minimalist interior spaces are brought to life with artful furniture pieces, artwork and lighting features adding flair and style to every room.
Aside from style, Foxwood D offers everything your group could possibly need for an extended Niseko powder getaway. Enjoy garage entrance with ski storage, a fully feature-packed kitchen with appliances and utensils aplenty, a generously cozy reclined sofa suite (with an unforgettable art print texture!) and a dining table suite that’s an artwork in itself.
Foxwood D’s owners have opted for fewer bedrooms, instead giving space over to en-suite bathrooms for each room. You also have a laundry room with its own washer and dryer, a flat-screen TV to enjoy and a western-style bathtub in the master bedroom to help soak away the day’s aches and pains. The Higashiyama location brings a great mix of peace, solitude and an easy drive to everything Niseko has to offer.

Location
SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
The Foxwood estate sits in upper Higashiyama village, located at the base of the Niseko Village ski resort. It is a quiet residential village surrounded by snow-covered forests. Don’t be surprised to see the occasional fox pass by! The inter-resort shuttle stops just nearby at Milk Kobo, and a few eateries are hidden away amongst the neighbouring chalets. Higashiyama is a great choice for a quieter stay that’s not too far from amenities with Hirafu and Hilton Niseko Village just around the corner.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
Niseko Village’s main gondola is a 15-minute walk from Foxwood D, and Property Management also offers a shuttle to and from the lifts each day to save you the hassle. If you want to expand your horizons, the inter-resort shuttle connecting Niseko’s four resorts stops just outside Milk Kobo, a few minutes’ walk from Foxwood. If you bring a car, Niseko Village makes a great base to explore Niseko from with all of Hirafu, Moiwa, Annupuri and Niseko Town a quick 15-minute drive away.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
It’s worth strolling through the streets of Higashiyama, a few understated local restaurants serve delicious food here year-round. Besides their famuos cecream and sweets, Milk Kobo also runs Prativo – a pizza restaurant serving house-made cheese, complete with porthole windows into their cheese production factory. For easy access to a wide range of options for food, drink and shopping head up to Hilton Niseko Village, both the hotel tower and the shopping street outside offer a suitable range of options.

Each Foxwood is different: what makes Foxwoods D stand apart from the others is a cool mix of provincial style furniture with ultra modern touches. The views of Mt Yotei from the enormous corner window upstairs are incredible.
Dwiari A –
Foxwood Chalets offer multiple units situated side by side, making it convenient for large groups to rent together when traveling. I recommend considering a car rental during your stay, as the location is a bit distant from restaurants and the ski lift.
