Nestled in the Foxwood estate halfway between Route 343 and Niseko Village’s ski slopes, Foxwood provides plenty in the way of solitude and forest scenery, while still being a quick drive from everything Niseko has to offer.
Like its Foxwood neighbours, Foxwood B is a delightful mix of sharply stylish interior design and warm, cozy vibes. Visually, Foxwood B’s designers have played with hardwood textures, lighting and dark grey concrete finishes to create a series of eye catching, quasi-industrial spaces that still manage to feel warm and fun to be in. The ultra-plush, velvety blue sofa suite in the living room ties it all together – a great space to soak in gorgeous snowy forest views while you lay back after a hard day on the slopes!
Feature-wise it’s all here: a full-feature kitchen, dining table with seating for eight, an expansive lounge space with flat-screen TV, as well as the laundry and ski storage downstairs give you all you need for an extensive mountain stay. There’s also a stunning Japanese-style feature bathtub for the lucky master suite occupants, and ceiling-high windows and a private balcony showcasing snow-covered forest views all around.

Also located on the ground floor, the second bedroom is a little smaller than the first. Two guests stay in either one king or two single bed. The room has windows on two sides, a wardrobe for storage and a small table. While there’s no en-suite, a shared bathroom is just next door with its own washstand, toilet and shower.

Located upstairs, the third bedroom is Foxwood B’s master suite. It sleeps two guests in either one king or two single beds, has ample wardrobe storage and window son two sides, and connects directly to the living room. The en-suite bathroom comes with its own Japanese-style soaking tub, as well as a separate shower, toilet and washstand.

Located on the ground floor, this bunk room is perfect for kids or guests. The bunk bed has a double bed below and single bed above, sleeping two guests standard and three max. There’s a fair amount of floorspace, a wardrobe for storage and a window letting in light and views. The shared bathroom is two doors down, and has a shower, toilet and washstand.

SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Located in the Foxwood Estate in Higashiyama, Foxwood B is close to both Niseko Village’s ski slopes and the Higashiyama village – a small, cozy retreat with a few dining options hidden away. Foxwood offers plenty in the way of forest views and solitude, with nature right at your doorstep. Niseko Village is sandwiched between Annupuri and Hirafu, so all of Niseko and Kutchan’s offerings are an easy drive away.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
Property management helpfully provides a ski shuttle service every day, saving you the walk to Niseko Village – but if you choose to foot it, the slopes are a 15-minute walk away. The inter-village shuttle stops nearby at Milk Kobo, helping you get around the area. Or if you choose to drive, Foxwood B offers two parking spots – one outside and one in the undercover garage.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Higashiyama’s cozy village neighbourhood hides a few interesting dining options. Aside from its famous desserts and ice cream, Takahashi Milk Kobo also operates several restaurants: Prativo offers an excellent pizza lunch buffet and showcases its cheese factory on-site. Head up to either Green Leaf or Hilton Niseko Village for a wider range of cafes, restaurants and bars, or drive 15 minutes into Hirafu for an even bigger selection.

Nila –
One of the modern chalets that I love which has an amazing views of Mount Yotei. As it is located in Outer Hirafu, you might need to hire a car to get around easily.
Alastair –
Every Foxwood is unique… B is perhaps the most vibrant in furniture and artwork. I love the views from the giant floor-to-ceiling glass upstairs.
Dwiari A –
I appreciate the furniture choices made at the chalet. The predominant use of wood for furnishings creates a calm and charming ambiance throughout. The highlight is the large glass windows in the living area, offering a fantastic view of Mount Yotei.
Sara –
There is something fun amount this chalet. The dark navy and emerald couches are super comfortable. The style is interesting with the bare wooden walls which are an cool design touch. Great Mt Yotei views and a little further out from Hirafu. I recommend hiring a car when staying here for ease. Amazing value!
