Villa Rochalie is sublimely modern in architecture and styling, set in a prime location in Echoland: in a quiet street just a block away from Hakuba’s liveliest nightlife district. Interiors are simple and modern, with wood highlights in the living and bedroom spaces adding a nice texture and warmth. The standout visual feature is the slanted dark-tint wooden ceiling in the open-plan kitchen/living/dining area, with exposed beams adding a gorgeous rustic feel to the clean cut modern interiors. A splash of colour in funky art prints also ties the space together nicely.
The chalet’s interior has been cleverly divided with residential spaces downstairs, and living areas upstairs. You’ll find four bedrooms on the ground floor, each with their own ensuite bathroom, as well as a laundry nook. Upstairs is home to a spacious living and dining room, as well as a fifth master bedroom suite. Soak in Hakuba’s natural beauty from a private balcony that runs the full length of the living area.

This bedroom is one of four bedroom located on level one. Locate towards the front of the building, glass doors open to a private terrace with seating for two. Like all bedrooms in the house, this one has two single beds. The en suite bathroom comes with shower, toilet and washstand.

Villa Rochalie is located in the Echoland district in the Hakuba ski valley. The chalets offer a peaceful setting neighboured by other chalets, just a short stroll from the main dining strip and the shuttle bus route.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
The Happo One ski lifts are less than 10 minutes away if driving. You’re also close to the shuttle bus stop so exploring the Hakuba Valley is made easy. Management offers a daily shuttle ride to the Kokusai and Nakiyama lifts and Adam Gondola in Happo One resort – make sure to reserve your transport the night prior.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
The chalets are ideally located just a short walk from the main dining street in Echoland. This strip offers a variety of dining options, ranging from local izakayas to cute cafes and pubs perfect for an après-ski tipple. Management also offers a daily shuttle to the local supermarket so you can stock up on groceries.

Villa Rochalie was our home away from home. We felt very comfortable and loved the quiet neighbourhood. All bedrooms have ensuites, which is a huge plus. The huge living area with massive TV (with Netflix included) was a hit with the group.

What a great property. Yes there are two chalets available, each with 5 rooms. We stayed in Chalet 2 and the design is modern, funky and very comfortable. I have to work while travelling and the dining area is the perfect set up for a computer and to work while everyone else skis! The kitchen is fully equipped and they even had tea, sugar and coffee pods available on arrival. TV has Netflix so you can sit back on the leather couches. Super comfortable. The rooms are no frills and simple in design. We hired a hire so was easy to get around and highly recommend the properties for a comfy stay.
