Located on site at The Orchards Niseko, Tomo’s diverse menu and casual dining space are ideal for friends, family and groups alike. The Japanese kanji for Tomo (共) means together, and the menu has been designed for sharing. The drink menu pays tribute to a traditional izakaya offering Hi Balls, Sake and Draft Beer but is complemented with thoughtful cocktails and non alcoholic options.
Tomo’s unique space has been influenced by close friends and supporters, from the artwork on the walls to the bottles of Fernet Hunter behind the bar.
If you have ever visited a Japanese izakaya, you’ll understand that a big part of the experience centres on sharing a steady stream of food and drink together. Often the menu is diverse, and typically attended by large groups of friends, colleagues or families. In the early stages of Tomo’s planning, partners Johan Soignet and Timothy King were clear in their desire to follow a similar ethos however with a modern twist.
