Tamashii open for breakfast

By 23rd January 2012August 27th, 2013

While Hirafu’s Tamashii– which means spirit or soul in Japanese – has always been a popular après ski bar, it is now open from 7 in the morning, offering freshly baked Muffins, big breakfast, various wraps and of course coffee.

Another major change this year is that Tamashii has been made bigger with a pool table included, as well as a relaxing lounge, aptly named the Tuning Room. Downstairs from Tamashii and directly accessible from there is restaurant Yosaku, where the staff usually cooks food until two in the morning.

This season, toban-yaki (A combination of vegetables and meat /seafood cooked on your table in a ceramic pot) has been added to the menu and the restaurant is now non-smoking before 11pm, with a separate smoking room available.
