IN the green season, Niseko is an outdoor adventure paradise, and that’s what brought Sprout Outdoor Espresso Café owner Yoshitake Toge here from Chiba (near Tokyo).
Yoshi-san loves the great outdoors – rafting, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and of course skiing (he’s a ski patroller at Annupuri!).
He first worked as a guide at local company NAC for six years. His wife Yukiko-san makes a killer espresso so they decided to start the café.
It’s filled with a library of information about the green season, as well as Yoshi-san’s encyclopedic mind.
