“SETSUDO – The Snow Caverns” opens at Niseko Village

A unique snow art installation “SETSUDO”, created by an internationally renowned installation artist Hirohiko Takenaka, has opened at Niseko Village.

“SETSUDO” features water droplet-shaped dome caverns and interconnecting tunnels forming a colony. Visitors will be enthralled by different views of the winter sky via open ceiling space within the installation as well as illumination within the caverns by nightfall. Admission is free.

Period: Open until the first week of March 2012
Hours: 5pm-8pm
