Mamma mia!!
The generously-proportioned Matt Thomas from Powderlife will be taking on the modestly-sized Aleisha Riboldi from Hokkaido Tracks in a pizza eating competition this Thursday (26/11) at Niseko Pizza, at 7pm on the dot. The pizzas will be 18-inch pepperonis, so this should be quite the spectacle!
Cezar has been kind enough to provide the venue for the eat-off, and a ¥5000 pizza voucher for the winner (plus bragging rights for the season!).
Only Matt and Aleisha are able to compete in this week’s competition, but we are hoping this can be a competition that continues throughout the season, with different competitors each week, and continuing prizes.
Spectators are encouraged, and the kitchen and bar will be open on the night to everyone. Pizzas have been reduced from last season. Get a local’s card for 20% off as well. All beers and house wine a bargain at only ¥300.
We all know it’s going to end in pepperoni tears (and they won’t be Matt’s), but come along and cheer for your favourite glutton!
