Six villas in the Panorama community have been completed, with the remaining six due for completion by December 2019.
Panorama is a collection of four to six-bedroom luxury villas at the entrance to Hirafu, each with private indoor and outdoor onsen and protected views of Mt Yotei.
It has an on-site clubhouse with new restaurant Tatsumi opening this winter, as well as concierge services and a landscaped art park surrounding the property.
