Light snow is still falling in Niseko town. It was the deepest day for the season again yesterday. I went to Kiroro yesterday. I arrived at 9:00 and there were no queue for any lifts and gondola!! Kiroro is huge and lots of side country area so people are well split  out. Every time my Kiroro local friends took me to the side country areas, there was deep deep snow and no tracks. I love Niseko, but it’s a great day trip escape from the crowds sometimes.

Now I’m back in Niseko powder kingdom. I know the top gates closed yesterday. The only thing in my head is, GOING TO THE PEAK!! Please check Niseko avalanche report and listen to the ski patrols at the top gate.  Snow will be super duper deep after  the gates, take your longest and widest sticks today otherwise you have to stay on someone’s tracks.

I think tomorrow will be the DAY. I can’t wait!!
