One of our favorite onsen baths thanks to its amazing alpine views
It’s a toss up between which gender has the best aspect from the Hirafutei Prince Hotel outdoor onsen. The men’s is hard to beat with views up the ski mountain – which is spectacularly lit up in the evening for night skiing. However on a clear day the women’s onsen has perfect views towards Mt Yotei, which is often turns orange, then pink, then purple as the sun sets when conditions are just right.
