Niseko Hanazono To Reopen This Summer With 1.7km Zipline – Longest In Asia

Niseko Hanazono Ski Resort has announced details of its newest summer attraction launching July 1 – Hanazono Zip World.

Hanazono Zip World has been designed and built by Whistler’s Skyline Ziplines.

It’s made up of a 2.5km series of zip lines extending from the resort base halfway to the peak of the world-famous Niseko United ski mountain.

The longest zip line – the Black Diamond Superfly – is 1.7km and the longest single zip line in Asia

Dual cables alongside each other allow friends and family to enjoy the experience simultaneously at speeds in excess of 110km on the Black Diamond Superfly.

Speeds are tamer on Zip 1 and Zip 2 for a less extreme experience.

Participants will catch Hanazono’s luxurious new 10-seater gondolas from the resort base alongside the Park Hyatt Hanazono hotel, before embarking on the 2-hour tour.

Hanazono Zip World joins the resort’s Hanazono Forest Tree Trekking course at the resort base, along with a range of nature-based summer activities immersed in Niseko’s mountains, forests, oceans and rivers.

This summer Hanazono will also introduce Mountain Lights, an immersive art installation by internationally acclaimed light artist Bruce Munro, which will see the ski slopes covered in fields of gently shimmering fibre-optic plumes of light.
