REAL ESTATE NEWS
Construction on a new, 74-unit housing complex will begin in August in Niseko Village.
The developer is the Chinese-owned real estate company, Space Sail, and the construction is thought to be a reaction to the expected increase in inbound tourists – and the proportionate increase in resort staff – as Japan continues to recover from Covid-era travel restrictions.
The building will be next to the La Plume development (which has its own staff accommodation) and will be a four storey reinforced concrete structure with two types of rooms, one for one to two people and larger units for four people.
All the rooms are rental units and a dining room for residents will also be available.
