DETAILS of Niseko’s first master-planned four-seasons resort at Hanazono have been released and a development application will be submitted to government shortly.
Hong Kong-based developer PCPD held a community consultation meeting in Kutchan on October 22 outlining plans for the resort.
Initial plans include the development of two luxury hotels and a number of condominiums over the next 10 years, adding 14,000 beds to the area. The plans also include new chair lifts.
The resort will follow the mould of other master-planned ski resorts around the world with an emphasis on pedestrian boulevards populated with a mix of restaurants and retail space.
An announcement will be made by government on the development application early next year.
