A record amount of construction is set go on in Niseko over the coming summer.
At least five major developments are set to get underway in the upper village – The Vale Niseko, Suiboku, Snow Crystal, Alpen Views and Yama Shizen II.
Niseko Alpine Development’s (Nisade) president Kal Bragg said as soon as the snow melted the action would begin.
“It’s never been busier than it is right now,” he said. “It’s really starting to fire up with five pretty decent size buildings going up in the upper village and a stack of new houses in the lower village.”
