After a couple of days or light rain a bit of cold has come through and turned the precipitation snow… but only just!
It’s pretty wet out there down here at village level, but up high it’s -4C or colder so there should be some nice quality up there.
A quick look at the forecast and today could well be our last accummulation of snow at village level. We might see a few more flakes but I’m guessing that might be it.
If you are looking for a powder fix it’s looking cold enough in Central Hokkaido to keep it powdery. It’s only four hours drive so you could do it in a day trip or a quick overnight!
