The 2010/11 season Best of Niseko winners have now been announced, after the largest ever numbers of votes were tallied.
Voters recognised The Barn’s new chef and management with it just pipping Sekka Dining for the best fine-dining restaurant. Rin and the Gyu+ bar (fridge door) were repeat winners in the Izakaya and Bar categories. Elvis’ Kebab was popular with voters taking out the best meal under ¥1,000 and running a very close second to the Green Curry Van for Best Street Food Van. Sekka Deli took out the best coffee category in a close vote from Downtown Café with new player Rhythm’s Gloorius Coffee also polling well. Rhythm were not left empty handed though, taking out the Best Retail category
Look out for the “Powderlife’s Best of Niseko” stickers on display at winning businesses.
