10 cm of new snow has fallen and now it’s cloudy in Niseko town. I went to Moiwa finally yesterday. New snow wasn’t enough to cover all old tracks however I know the spots that I always find fresh snow, I enjoyed one great run in powder.
There is no cat track between Annupuri and Moiwa this season yet, so you really need to know about the area if you want to go far out from gate 6. If you don’t know well, you can hire a local guide. There are many guide companies in Niseko. Don’t follow strangers, they might not know the way, they don’t wait for you, they don’t save you.
