It’s cloudy but I can see mountains. I went to Mt. Shiribetsu for split boarding yesterday. It was a bit windy but nice weather to walk. After 1.5 hour of hiking, I had an amazing long run from top to bottom. Snow was fresh and untouched, deep and smooth. There were already many cracks on South faces. Please choose the lines carefully if you go there.
I might have a relax day today, might go to Moiwa and chill out in the forest. It will be a great day to head to the peak from the gates as it’s almost no wind today.
A local snow festival “Yukitopia” will be held in Kutchan this weekend. There are many fun programs for two days. Please check the time schedule and join the game!
