Great base depth, cold temps, and lots of fresh powder – you just have to love Niseko!
These conditions – a bit of breeze at altitude coupled with decent snowfalls – look like they'll be with us for the best part of 72 hours yet when they shouyld finally give way to a bit clear weather.
The clouds that bless us with all this snow also mean there's not a lot of blue sky or light, but you can't have everything…
Check your lift movements here, and for a detailed backcountry report check here. Be aware though that there are lots of fairly loaded slopes out there. Best stick with lift-accessed slack country for a day or two yet.
