Niseko Snow Report // 04 February // 2012

By 4th February 2012June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

Another good fall overnight to add to yesaterday's solid falls. Should be another good day on the slopes but cloud cover will keep visibility somewhat limited. We're expecting the snow to get heavier throughout the day and into tomorrow, with snow forecast through most of the coming week. Simply click on your area to check your lift movements here.

We do have a new system due early in the week which should push a warm front ahead of it, temporarily raising temps ahead of a plunge in the mercury and a good dump of snow. Fingers crossed we'll wake to another epic Niseko snowfall on Tuesday or Wednesday!

If you're looking to head out the back the good news is that the peak gates are scheduled to reopen – and it should be very good out there after several days of good falls with the gates closed… While the snow will be deep it's worth bearing in mind that most slides happen just after storms. Be smart out there and check the latest backcountry report here.
