Niseko Snow Report // January 06 // 2011

By 6th January 2011June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

You want snow, you got it!

This is exactly the sort of powder day that makes a Niseko trip so unique… 40+ cms of snow overnight means that you'll have knee deep turns on course, easily waist deep if you want to look for it – and that's inbounds! By the looks of things the snow will continue for the rest of the day and thru the week.

Lifts should be open on time down low but expect delays as they have to dig out chairs at higher elevations. Visibility will also be of an issue.

Backcountry gates will be closed today due to high slide risk – and that will continue to heighten under current conditions. Be careful and don't do anything silly!

Have a great day!
