Niseko Snow Report // March 12 // 2010

By 12th March 2010June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

This week started with a bang and it’s going to end with a fizzle… or drizzle at least. Warm temps today with rain expected at lower altitudes. Higher up that shouldn’t be an issue though the winds which should come thru later may be.

Best to probably get in early and grab a couple of runs, then be ready to call an early mark and head for an onsen / massage to rest up ahead of a fun Friday night. We’re looking for scattered snowfalls over the next few days – though there looks to be a serious rain event on the horizon… we’l’ keep you posted.

Winds are expected to be fairly strong up high which may interfere with lift operation. Remember this in planning your day.

The back / slack country gates look set to stay closed today. Check the Avalanche / condition report here for more up-to-date info.

And have a good day…
