A simply superb morning to wake up in Niseko with 25 cms of fresh over the last 24 hours and fine weather.
We should see this current weather hold through the day until more snow falls in the late afternoon / evening. Temps outside will be cool (thankfully!) and help keep the snow in great shape.
Hirafu plans to open again today the Family and Centre Courses, but wants lift riders accessing the top of the mountain to lift down rather than ski top-to-bottom. (So that means three lifts open – Ace Family, Centre Four, Ace Three) Annupuri will also open today. Neither Niseko Village nor Hano are online yet…
The week is looking very good indeed, with slightly warmer temp tomorrow just below freezing before the mercury drops again, and regular snowfalls through to next weekend./p>
