A chalet designed by one of Japan’s most famous architects, Kengo Kuma, will have an estimated build cost of US$20 million.
The home is being designed for a creek-side lot inside the Elevation Estate, a premium gated community developed by Zekkei Properties in 2016.
The 15-lot estate itself was masterplanned by Kuma with design covenants on the properties.
One house has been built already and nine more are under way or planned for the near future.
The owner of the new house is believed to be American and the completion date scheduled for late 2020.
