Not quite zero but we just have a thin layer of frozen slush – freeze thaw conditions. Presently overcast morning with relatively warm conditions. Higher up on the mountain there is probably a decent layer of fresh snowfall.
It was a terrible day in Niseko yesterday with 2 avalanches. One on Mt.Yotei and one on Mt.Iwaonupuri. Condolences to the families and friends of those involved.
