The Pavillions / Ginto Hirafu has a range of chalets in its offerings: among them Chalet Tsurara is the most feature-packed. As with every Pavillions chalet, Chalet Tsurara has been art directed to a T. Light hardwood floors, textured stone tiles and neutral tones have been highlighted artfully with textured rugs, imported furniture, and art pieces. It’s a pleasure to see professionally finished interiors that’ll make you feel instantly comfortable in these classy surroundings. Everywhere, floor-to-ceiling windows use Chalet Tsurara’s location to great advantage to frame uninterrupted views of Mt. Yotei.
Each Chalet Tsurara sits across two floors, with dual entry allowing each floor to be booked separately or together as a whole building. Upstairs you’ll find the grand open-plan living area with living, dining and kitchen, as well as two bedrooms with expansive en suite bathrooms. Downstairs, you’ll find one bedroom, a separate living / dining / kitchen area and wood deck access, not to mention all the fun stuff. The expansive entrance opens up to the relaxation room, with reclining sofa armchairs and flat-screen TV. Walk through this and you’ll reach a change room that connects to both a large Japanese style bath (with shower heads and bath space for up to four) as well as your own Finnish sauna. The ground floor is also home to a ski storage dry room with state-of-the-art boot dryers and racks enough for everyone’s gear: you can reach the ski room straight from your undercover garage, making gearing up and down seamless each day. Out on the deck, recliners let you lay back and enjoy the snowy scenery and fresh air. Chalet Tsurara makes an excellent stage to entertain and impress, or a cozy home base to repose and relax with your nearest and dearest.

Located on the ground floor, the first bedroom houses two guests in one extra large king size bed. It is a spacious room with tall windows opening up onto the wood deck. There is an en suite bathroom with shower and separate toilet, and a walk-in wardrobe for storage.

Located on the upper floor, the second bedroom is also a master-style suite. Two guests can stay here on either one king or two single beds. The room has bedside table and a wardrobe for storage, and windows on one side looking out to the forests beyond. There is a roomy en suite bathroom with a shower and bath behind one door, and toilet behind another.

Chalet Tsurara
Location
SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Chalet Tsurara is located in the Pavilions’ Ginto Residences, in East Hirafu. It is an exclusive neighborhood built in to forestland, with each block of land allowing for plenty of tranquil forest in between each chalet. Although set in the tranquil Pavilions development, Chalet Tsurara is a short 7-minute walk from Hirafu Midtown where you can find restaurants, convenience stores and a major transport hub.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
Walk 7 minutes to the shuttle bus stop at Hirafu Midtown, where both local village shuttles and town buses both stop. Driving, Hirafu’s ski lifts are under 10 minutes, while both Niseko Village and Hanazono can be reached in under 15 minutes. With an undercover garage, driving will be both easy and recommended to explore the wider Niseko area.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Midtown is a growing hub in East Hirafu, with restaurants old and new to choose from. Try Udon Gokoro or Soba Ichimura for delectable local lunches, or La Villa Lupicia for beloved Italian. Two hot pot spots round out your options, and 7-Eleven is right on the corner too. Drive 15 minutes into Kutchan for groceries, pharmacies and everything else you might need.
