Niseko Snow Report & Forecast 31 January – 01 February 2014

By 31st January 2014June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

After an hour or so of sunshine first thing this morning (Friday 31 January) the heavens opened and snow and cold temperatures returned to the Niseko Resort Area.

25-30 cm has fallen at village level today and it’s still snowing heavily at the moment.

High winds once again closed the upper lifts but the wind speeds are forecast to lighten tomorrow (Saturday 01 February).

Rusutsu has avoided lift closures the past couple of days and will be a good choice for turns.

As will the steeper pitches of Niseko Village if the gondola is running.

If the high winds persist then Annupuri and ‘Strawberry Fields’ in Hanazono will be the places to start your day.
