Kabayama is experiencing a surge of interest from buyers looking to secure land on Hirafu’s periphery at prices much lower than those in the resort itself. 

This attractive block is priced at only ¥80,000 per tsubo, making it highly attractive compared to other blocks in the area asking between ¥300,000 – ¥400,000 per tsubo. “Why so cheap?”, you are probably wondering. The reason is the land’s undulating nature that may require infilling to make fully usable. A challenge but not a large one, in our view. The land is a large 5,741 m² (approx. 1,736.65 tsubo) and enjoys very good views of both Mt Yotei and the ski mountain and a small creek along one edge of the land adds to the semi-rural atmosphere.
