The 2-bedroom penthouse is 102sqm and has a private lift lobby. The master bedroom has a king-size bed that can be split into two singles and comes with a luxurious ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is a Japanese-style tatami (woven straw mat) floor room with comfortable futon beds on the floor. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge rooms sleeping an extra two.

Matthew Suites is located in the heart of Hirafu in one of Niseko’s most vibrant, iconic streets – Momiji Zaka Street. It’s home to lots of old and new accommodation, a dozen or so restaurants and a few lounge and party bars. If you’re here to experience everything Niseko has to offer, this is a good place to base yourself.
Lifts / Transport
From the apartments it’s an easy 5-minute walk to the family lift. From here you can lift hop your way up to the upper mountain if you want, or just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment is also the free shuttle bus stop which can drop you at the foot of any lift in the village.
Restaurants / Bars
This is the place to be if you care about Niseko’s dining and party scene. Gourmet heavy hitters Ezo Seafoods and The Barn are just around the corner, while Michelin-starred Kamimura is just up the street. For party lovers Half Note offers a cozy retreat with impeccable live jazz throughout the season, while Bar Barumba stays open late into the night. Or take advantage of your Matthew Suites 10% discount at Yukitei Restaurant downstairs.
