KASUMI

Kasumi is a 3-bedroom chalet located within The Orchards, which is a quiet chalet community just outside Hirafu. Sleeping up to eight guests the home is ideal for larger families or groups.

The 2-storey property has an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area that features quirky and unique finishes and fittings, including a foosball table. Vaulted ceilings create a spacious felling, while floor to ceiling windows on either side allow for stunning views of both Mt Yotei and Mt Annupuri. Underfloor heating ensures the house stays cosy and warm.

If you want to take a break from powder hunting the loungeroom has an LCD TV with English-language channels, as well as an Apple TV that guests can use to download TV shows and movies using their own iTunes account. The house also has high speed wireless internet throughout so you can keep in touch with family and friends back home and boast about your amazing Niseko holiday!

For serious post-skiing relaxation, enjoy a long soak in the Japanese-style bathtub on the lower floor. What better way to soothe those aching muscles than so sit in the steaming hot water while you can enjoy beautiful views of the floodlit ski slopes at night.

The property also has a dedicated concierge team who will be more than happy to ensure your holiday is stress and hassle-free. They can organise pre-arrival grocery delivery and assist with booking ski and snowboard rental, lessons and lift passes, babysitters, restaurants and even massages!

Kasumi Accommodation

Kasumi has three bedrooms, all located on the lower floor of the house. Each room sleeps two guests in either one double or two single beds. Two additional futons can be added for extra guests, meaning the property will accommodate up to eight guests. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and there is an additional bathroom with Japanese-style bath on the lower floor, plus an additional toilet upstairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern Western appliances and a separate breakfast bar, and in the dining area is a large table that will seat eight people.

Kasumi Location

Kasumi is located within The Orchards, a small collection of luxury chalets just 5 minutes drive from Hirafu. Being outside of Hirafu offers guests the chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the village and really enjoy Niseko’s natural beauty, as the community is surrounded by stunning snow-covered birch forests and views of Mt Yotei and Mt Annupuri.

Getting to the ski slopes or going into Hirafu for dinner is not a problem as The Orchards has a dedicated on-demand shuttle service for guests from first lifts in the morning until about 10pm. For night owls wanting to enjoy Niseko’s lively bar scene, it’s just a short taxi trip home.
