Consistent, dry and exceptionally light, this powder is certain to provide any visitor with some incredible experiences across the varied terrain that the area has to offer. What’s more is that the resort itself is so well-developed that it caters for all abilities of skier and snowboarder, from rookie to professional.

Across 2 bedrooms, Sakura House can sleep up to 5 people in Western, single beds. These individual beds can be converted into doubles on request, and each bedroom has delightful mountains views. Two bathrooms complete the full accommodation facilities, with access to separate toilet and bath/shower from each bedroom.

Sakura House Location

Sakura House is situated in a convenient location within Rusutsu village – and most necessities can be found a short walking distance away. The grocery store, natural hot spring Onsen and a number of other restaurants and bars can all be found just a 10 – 15 minute walk away from the chalet, and the ski lifts can be reached in less than that time by foot. A popular tip left by many guests to Sakura House is to rent a ski locker close to the lifts themselves, which makes that 7 – 10 minute walk home without equipment much, much easier. In terms of distance from other important locations, Rusutsu resort is conveniently placed itself. Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport is just a 90 minute transfer away, and can be reached easily by bus to and from Rusutsu. Additionally, nearby destinations such as Niseko Resort, Mount Yotei and the beautiful Lake Toya can all be found in under an hours drive away, making a stay in Rusutsu an incredible way to see more of Hokkaido as well.
