A beautiful outdoor bath surrounded by boulders and forest
This exquisite onsen is set on the back doorstep of the old Japanese Iroha Hotel, looking out into the forest at the foot of the Annupuri Ski Resort. This is one of those outdoor onsen scenes that you dream of with piles of snow and boulders surrounding the bath. The spring water contains an extremely high level of silicic acid which is said to have a beautifying effect on the skin.
