Lifts / Transport
Alpine Central is located in the Izumikyo 2 area in East Hirafu Village. It’s a little way out of the main part of the village and it will take you at least 20 minutes to walk in. The good news is that the free village shuttle bus stops right outside the front door, and will have you up to the lifts in about 5 minutes!
Restaurants / Bars
There is a popular café right near the lodge which serves great fresh sandwiches and tasty cakes. There is also a bakery and two Japanese restaurants within walking distance. If you want to head in to the main part of the village for dinner or drinks you can catch the shuttle bus up the road, but keep in mind that the shuttle stops at 9pm so if you’re having a late one, you will need to either catch a taxi or take a long walk home (at least it’s downhill!).
