Tsukinoki is a two-storey chalet with 3 bedrooms, and can sleep a total of 8 people. The master bedroom on the upper level is the Japanese tatami floor style room with two single Japanese style futon mattresses. These are laid out on the floor and can be pushed together to make a double. The other two bedrooms each have one single and one bunk for two, so each of these rooms sleeps three people. There are two bathrooms and two standalone toilets.
Tsukinoki is located in a quiet corner of Lower Hirafu Village with incredible views straight up to Mt Yotei. Back around the front of the house and you can see the ski runs, which are beautifully lit up at night. The house is just a short two or three minute stroll to a shuttle bus stop, so getting up to the ski lifts in the morning is a simple exercise. The shuttle runs until 9pm at night too, so you can also use it for night skiing or getting around to restaurants or bars. There are also several restaurants and bars within a five minute walk, and there is also an onsen hot spring bath just up the road for afternoon or evening bathing.
