Mangetsu Lodge is a stunning five-bedroom chalet nestled in the serene Izumikyo 3 area, just a short walk (or an even shorter shuttle bus ride) from the bustling heart of Hirafu Village. Being outside of the centre of the village you can appreciate the natural beauty of Niseko, without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

Built by West Canada Homes – a group of expats committed to producing the best quality homes in one of the world’s most beautiful areas – this large and modern chalet has been designed with families in mind, with all the trimmings of a quality ski lodge. It features a fully-equipped, modern Western-style kitchen as part of the open-plan living and dining area. One of the highlights of the lounge area is a stone fireplace, the perfect place for the adults to relax while the kids play in the downstairs media and games room which has a plasma TV with Netflix.
There’s plenty of space for everyone throughout the three-level property, with four of the bedrooms having their own en suite bathrooms as well as a fifth bathroom on the lower level, and two extra toilets on the lower and middle levels – no-one will be left waiting for the shower! After a long day on the slopes, you can come home, leave your gear in the custom-designed ski storage and drying room, and then steam away your aches and pains in the eight-person sauna.
The lodge has five bedrooms, one on the lower floor, one on the middle floor and the other three rooms on the upper floor. Four of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, and there is a fifth separate bathroom on the lower floor, as well as two additional toilets on the lower and middle floors. Two of the bathrooms also have a bathtub, if you prefer a relaxing soak. There’s also a laundry with washing machine and dryer.

The first bedroom is located on the ground floor and opens straight out onto the dedicated downstairs media room. One king double can be split into two single beds upon request. There is a shared bathroom with shower nearby.

The second bedroom is located on the middle level and connects to the central living space with kitchen, dining and living areas. SETTING / ATMOSPHERE
Mangetsu Lodge is tucked away in the quiet Izumikyo 3 area (between Izumikyo 1 & 2), the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the village and be surrounded by Niseko’s natural beauty.
LIFTS / TRANSPORT
The village shuttle stop isn’t far from the chalet. It’s only a short drive up the road to get to the lifts or into the main village and the property provides a car with your stay. If you don’t mind a bit of exercise, it’s a 10-15 minute walk in the snow.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
If you want to head out for dinner, it’s easy to walk or catch the shuttle up to the main village, however dotted around Izumikyo 1 & 2 are plenty of great options for dining out.
