Kiseki once was Happy Bell Cottages, one of the original simple old Japanese accommodation options in Hirafu. Its time was well and truly up, so it was recently refurbished, bringing it back to a modern standard with extremely comfortable furnishings and modern design and fittings.
There are three apartments in the building all are set over two levels. The apartment designs have been really well thought out to maximise space and make for comfortable and convenient holiday living. The apartments come with full kitchens and everything required for cooking your average meal (though all the nearby restaurants might tempt you to dine out every night of the week!).
There is a ski storage area by the shared entrance where you can dump your gear before heading in to your private abode. Each apartment has its own laundry facilities with washer and dryer as well as iron and ironing board – these may come in handy as two of Niseko’s Michelin-starred restaurants – Kamimura and Domus – are just three minute’s walk from the front door!

Kiseki
Location
Setting / Atmosphere
Kiseki is centrally located in Upper Hirafu. Just a few minutes walk downhill is the main road running through Hirafu, where there are convenience stores, a supermarket/deli, restaurants, bars, cafes and more. Just a few minutes walk in the other direction across flat ground is the other main street (Hirafu-Zaka street), which runs up to the ski lifts.
Lifts / Transport
From either of the nearby main streets you can catch the free shuttle bus to any lift in the village. The other option from here is to walk to Hirafu Zaka Street, cross the road and down the lane by Suiboku to the family lift and straight onto the slopes. Beginners and intermediates can spend their day here, and more advanced skiers can lift-hop their way up the hill from here.
Restaurants / Bars
There is great access to both major streets in Hirafu, so all the best restaurants, bars and stores are less than a 5 minute walk away. If that’s too far, then Wild Bill’s bar, Lava Lounge Pizza, Ryunabe and Mina Mina are just down the street, while Jam Bar & Restaurant is just up the street.
